Award-winning poet Amy Nawrocki grew up in Newtown, Connecticut and graduated from Sarah Lawrence College. She received a Masters of Fine Arts from the University of Arkansas and teaches English at the University of Bridgeport. Her poems have appeared in such journals as The Battered Suitcase, Verdad Magazine, Alice Blue, Chimaera, Loch Raven Review, Phi Kappa Phi Forum, New Millennium Writings, SNReview, The Litchfield Review, Lily, The Powhatan Review, and Modern English Tanka.
 
Her chapbook Potato Eaters was published in 2008 by Finishing Line Press, and her second collection, Nomad's End, was published in October 2010.  Her first prose book, A History of Connecticut Wine: Vineyard in your Backyard, co-authored with her husband Eric D. Lehman was released by the History Press in March 2011. Her second, A History of Connecticut Food, will be out in Spring 2012.
